Denver Broncos signs veteran defensive tackle Henry Melton
Defensive striker Henry Melton becomes the newest member of the Denver Broncos.
Melton, who was once selected to the Pro Bowl, played in 16 games (1 starts) for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and completed two sacks last season. The 29-year-old player will become a valued member of the Broncos defensive lines, after the team’s defensive tackle Vance Walker has been placed on the injured reserve.
The Broncos got more good news before completing Melton’s signing. DeMarcus Ware will soon return to training. Defensive end Derek Wolfe looks do not hurt but previously considered likely to encounter serious knee injury.
Melton has made 22.5 sacks in the previous six seasons.
